hi,

I am going to do my sister in-laws plumbing on her new ensuite, i need to run a hot and cold feed from in the wall in the original bathroom under the ground and over to where the new ensuit is, the house is shaped in a "U" shape where the existing bathroom and new ensuite will be.

Is there anything special I should do in regards to the hot line under ground with depths, lagging, size of pipe etc, I will be piping out the ensuite in dux, as far as im aware you cant install dux pipe underground?

The distace would only be 3 meters between the two rooms and its just a garden area with a few ferns and shrubs growing, there wil be no foot traffic at all.

Thanks

You will be alright.sounds like you are already thinking about the right things.
   -- Metal in ground---- protect.
-- Flow  ---- if someone turn on a tap somewhere else in the house, will it affect the shower. Pipe size.
The reg.s on depth keep changing.

pretty much sounds like what we do when were running underslab pipe work for an island bay kitchen....lagg the pipe for heat loss and protection and back fill with fines or best sand and where the pipe passes through the slab we put a 50mm pvc collar arount the pipe for further protection.
