How to tie underfloor heating pipe to reinforcing
« on: August 22, 2010, 07:38:17 PM »
Hi there,
attaching plastic pipe with wire to the reinforcing is not really the best thing you can do because the wire can rub through the pipe over a period of time. The last thing we want is to have leaks in the floor. We are using special plastic channels which are being tied to the reinforcing and the pipes are clipped in afterwards. it goes rapidly quick and no pipe is tied to any reinforcing. If anybody wants to know more about it feel free and write to us. the team from Warmtec.

cheers
Fidl

hi there,
if you have all the time in the world go for it but you still have the pipe on steel and it still can rub. it is definitely better than with wire.
cheers
