I have a very simple question.

What has the Plumbers Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board done to protect the Public since the Amendment Bill last year? In fact what has the Board done differently in the last 5 years that has been legal to protect the Public?

It seems to me nothing is improving and all the Board ever does is change administrative processes to make themselves look busy.

Yep Robbo the worlds history is packed with examples of issues that have got out of hand when democracy was replaced with dictatorship but still called democracy. When leaders ignored the people - not that I'm saying we have any leaders in our Board, in fact it's not our Board its the Governments paid for by us.

When it comes to our industry the Government doesn't care as they have the Board to blame or they can blame the malcontents.  When something does happen they will say "wow why did that happen, why have we lost a thousand tradespeople in five years, why don't people like us"

The Board and the Government are like dumb and dumber. 

Yep Aboutgas, hitting them in the pocket is the best way but not the Board as the Government don't fund them so they don't care.

Yes it may be a matter of waiting for the right opportunity to protest on a large scale but getting participation in such action will be an issue as a lot of practitioners are complacent.
