Fellow Practitioner Issue 323 Dated 9 December 2016
« on: December 09, 2016, 06:21:59 AM »
Looking into the Federations mystical crystal ball it shows a reflection, and it really does suck to be us. Reflecting on the past two to three decades we see what the industry has been through, inquiries, Board sackings, retrospective legislation, mistakes in legislation, unlawfully taken money, reduction in skills and numbers. The list goes on and in reality how much of it was the result of actions by the practitioners - NONE!!.

At what stage do we as an industry walk away from a Government thinking about taking us back to heavy handed regulation?  A minister that actually recognises the importance of the industry and what it does would be a great help.
