Fellow Practitioner Issue 326 Dated 3 February 2017
« on: February 03, 2017, 06:40:21 AM »
This weeks issue outlines a number of problems and the source of the problems seems to point towards the Government and politicians and the legislation they have imposed. The outcome is that somewhere, there’s a tree working really hard to make oxygen so the politicians can breathe and we feel the politicians that are turning a blind eye to the plight of our industry should go and apologise to it.

Get thinking and put on the pressure for change.

When you look at these issues its as it the Government don't want to know about the problems as they already have their insurance covered by the trades people. When Auckland and Christchurch turn to shit in a few years time you can see the Government throwing their hands in the air and saying "Its not our responsibility or fault. Take it up with the tradespeople". Why do we even vote for these people? Didn't it all happen with leaking buildings where the blame was laid on the trades people whom simply followed the plans and designers directions but still got the blame and now have to prove their competence at every turn.  Perhaps its the politicians who should be tested for their competence every year. This is no longer a joke where positions of authority in New Zealand are being used to suppress those in New Zealand who actually keep the country running. We should all be letting our local MP's know about the issue and it they don't act they don't get the vote. Perhaps we need a NONE OF THE ABOVE vote.
