If i install a cooker in an existing installation that is safe and sound but is not certified.When i certified the cooker does the whole installation become my responsibility or do i certified the other appliances and heaters and take responsibility for someones work

hi guys, before you start you will need to test the system that is already in place. If you find a fault you will be able to add it to your job after pointing out the fault to the owner. When you have installed your bit and tested that all is fine you can do no more, you only have to certyfy the new install, thats my spin,cheers

I reported this to the board,they pretty much did"t care.They said just make a paper trail between them and owner job done.FU## that so i found out who done the job,found out that the person wan"t a gasfitter just a plumber.Phone the board got told that i would have to make a complaint, they would send my letter to the plumber with my name on it asking for his reply.Thought about it FU## it just do it.Next the board ring , we have your complaint what do you want us to do.PULL HAIR OUT.Stop this plumber from doing uncertified work.Month latter board ring do u want to a point a investigator, high court ,district court what do u want us to do,pretty much talk out of it like they did not want to do anything.I was over it by then they just ending up writing the plumber a letter please explain.Plumber responds sorry i will get someone to certified the job.Case close.So when i am driving on the road and get pull up for no licence.It is all good to say my mate has got a licence , he said i could drive.Case close.Year right So i sent all this time and money to get my licence ,then time and money to have my licence.Just so people can do gas then get caught and say i will get my mate sign it off.It was my first time of dealing with the board after paying them money for many years. Then to have this complaint just brush under the carpet FU## me off.They wanted to talk me out of it and to do FU## all. A slap on the hand with a wet bus ticket is good enought.That is what they do with our hard earn money I took the time to investigate they did not want to

you got to ask who does this other guy know, whats his affiliations, membership, etc..

With this corrupt and incompetent Board....its all about who you know not what you know.
