Training for Gasfitters
« on: January 18, 2013, 10:55:29 PM »
Hi guys, this is `Rinnai`s web address that takes you to the training assessment video that some of us guys did last year for C.B.L. points. I don’t know if they are running one again this year but this will serve as a great training aid and reference information for gasfitters. I reckon we should be allowed to claim points for watching this video, it`s quite long if you watch the whole thing but you can choose the area that you watch by selecting from the left hand index. Anyway a great piece of free training info from a very good forward thinking company, cheers

I concur this on line training is very good, and topical.  They are doing a free on this year - and it isn't a regurgitation of the same stuff either.  They are to be congratulated for this training - training they have carried out for years - well prior to the "points" system.  I think that before "points" came in, this training was probably only available to service agents, but they have now widened it.  Of course it is good for the gasfitter, but also for Rinnai as the more information gasfitters have about their products etc, the better it is for them as they will be properly installed leaving happy customers.

This is a course that you would do whether it had points associated with it or not because you do learn something, and I can personally vouch for that fact given that many gasfitters I know do the Rinnai course even when they have sufficient points for re-licensing - why?  Because it adds to their knowledge base.  Well done Rinnai!
Have you learned lessons only of those who admired you, and were tender with you, and stood aside for you?  Have you not learned great lessons from those who braced themselves against you, and disputed the passage with you?  (Walt Whitman 1819-1891)  American Poet
