Training/cpd?
« on: July 16, 2017, 02:09:33 PM »
has anybody gained any qualifications post certifying exams, and if so what were they?
I have recently become a certifying plumber/gas fitter and am happy working for the company I'm with but would like to keep the brain ticking over.
Any suggestions?

Limited electrical - really handy if you are a certifying gasfitter and doing any appliance servicing.  In fact you should have limited electrical if you are doing appliance servicing.  IQP Backflow?  Another handy thing to have in your suite of quals.   Some papers on design or seismic engineering - depends on what sort of work you do.
Have you learned lessons only of those who admired you, and were tender with you, and stood aside for you?  Have you not learned great lessons from those who braced themselves against you, and disputed the passage with you?  (Walt Whitman 1819-1891)  American Poet
