PGDB Annual Report
« on: September 12, 2013, 01:25:24 PM »
Wow - did you see the Employee Remuneration Bands:

$220000.00 - $229999.00       - 1 employee at the PGDB - wonder who that could be?
$140000.00 - $150000.00       - 1 employee
$130000.00 - $139999.00       - 1 employee
$100000.00 - $109999.00       - 1 employee

Um, how much does the Prime Minister of NZ get paid.  Over $220k, presumably for the CEO of the PGDB - to head an administrative licensing board?  You have to be kidding right?  And a Board who has f++ked up on so many counts.  I say put a mask on the employee who is earning this much, because somehow reading this makes me feel I have been robbed.  This Board were informed by the OAG, by the Ombudsman and by the Federation that they were illegally collection money off practitioners.  And until the retrospective legislation was pushed through that was the case.  So instead of getting a slap on the hand for it what do they do - they give the person a payrise - because last year there was no one in this band, but someone was in the $200000.00 to $2009999.00 band.  So at least a $10k payrise for what?  No wonder we are up in arms.  And we want to give them our licensing money next year - perhaps they want the pay bands to increase another $10k, while we bust our balls during recessionary times to put food on the table of our families and keep our staff employed.

I really am at my wits end.  I look at the exorbitant overheads, the pay scales that I think are out of line with the industry they purport to regulate and I ask myself what the hell this government is doing, and where it all went so very wrong.
