"If ever there was a voice that in reality represented so few, it is that of the Master Plumbers"

Haha now this cracked me up, now one of my all time fav quotes. Has an elegant yet important sound to it

Sounds like something Winston Churchill could have said hahaha

Good on ya Rodza, getting vocal, love it....good point here mate

I have also recently learned that "The Board" also wish to gazette a notice allowing them to again falsely misuse their power under the Act (06' Act) to audit any practitioner at any time where the practitioner must prove their competency to "The Board's" auditor. As if we aren't doing enough to already prove we know our trades with CPD!!! This was not the original intention of the Act but "The Board" have made it their own intention by 'interpreting' the Act in their own words to suit their selfish power hungry cause.

Just one thing mate I am pretty sure its over $48 000 for their legal costs to remain a charity...imagine how many blankets that could have bought for the homeless or food for the poor....... utter tosser's who will twist any situation to their advantage, by playing on peoples fears and wants.

You can't choose who you are.....but you are the sum of your choices.......

You can make a request for any information you want mate, usually though from my experience the cost of getting it is proportional to how much it drops them in the shit, up to a point where they say they haven't got it.

Well well well, Maurice has permission to go to America, please can he stay until he retires.

He gets caught out telling untruths that help cover up an explosion that nearly kills someone, John Key does sweet FA.

He then politicises a very hot/popular current issue which he grandstands on....and goes viral and gets to go on a day time TV show in the states. Guys please don't stoop to any bigotry and make any jokes about homosexuals, he will twist it away from the issue and use it against you and make it all about homophobia.

I wonder if Mr Key thinks his racist jokes were funny too.

Prime Minister John Key has given Maurice Williamson permission to appear on US talk show Ellen.

Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres invited the Pakuranga MP to appear on her show, after his speech on the Marriage Equality Bill went viral last week.

Williamson's speech featured on the show last Wednesday in the US, after Parliament passed a law which made gay marriage legal.

His speech  talked about "big, gay rainbows" and how he had been warned he would "burn for eternity" if he voted in favour of the bill.

Normally politicians are not allowed to take up the offer of a paid trip, but Prime Minister John Key told TV ONE's Breakfast this morning that Williamson "can absolutely go".

"Anyone who has seen Maurice speak before, the good people of Pakuranga, will know what I'm talking about, he is very funny."

"He is ferociously bright, he's always had that incredibly witty sense of humour and I don't think that he did an awful lot of planning for that speech."

The Prime Minister says rules surrounding actors equity mean people who appear on such shows have to be paid - but as long as Maurice Williamson donates the fee to charity, it will be fine.

Willimson’s racist jokes OK by Key?

Days before accusing us of being racist for not wanting more of New Zealand’s land to fall under foreign control, Maurice Williamson was making racist jokes. John Key excused Williamson’s racism accusation by calling it a joke. So how will he cover for Williamson’s racist jokes?

At an awards ceremony Williamson, who had been drinking, climbed on stage to give out two awards. First, he asked MC Oscar Kightley if his “papers were in order”.

Then, for no apparent reason, he started telling Muslim jokes:

“What is the difference between Muslims and Kiwis? Muslims get to commit adultery and get stoned, Kiwis get stoned and commit adultery.”

And the one about the weather in Iraq: “Shi’ite in the morning and Sunni in the afternoon”

You’ll remember that Lockwood Smith lost his chance to be a senior minister because of his racist comments before the election. Will the same apply to Williamson?

Or is it OK in John Key’s government for ministers to get pissed and tell racist jokes in public?

It seems that Maurice is the Court Jester......Shame he has such a huge effect in peoples lives, people who are struggling just to make ends meet, getting shafted by illegal money gathering(in the old days it was called theft)....but is OK because Uncle flip flop can fix it with a joke and a lie and then sweep it under the carpet.....I love democracy ain't it great. :'(

Don't forget Mr Key is aware of what has happened, or he bloody should be............

I notice the National Party is dipping in the polls.

Anyone who has seen Maurice speak before, the good people of Pakuranga, will know what I'm talking about, he is very funny."

Sadly mate idiots would be more palatable, I can live with people doing things because they lack the judgment, but I really don't think these people are stupid in any way, which makes it worse.

In a free and democratic society I am meant to be ok with being treated this way?

One thing to think of is with a democracy they can do it to anyone if it becomes acceptable by the public at large, if 51 out of 100 says it ok to be railroaded by a plumbers Board.

What messages would the Government be condoning by this non action?

I have seen enough to know this could happen to anyone, I and many others have shouted it from the roof tops and the powers that be have done nothing.

The powers that be have ignored more than acted on, that's not a good ratio. OAG, Ombudsman, regulation review committee, charities commission and a cover up.......no one has done anything from the government. 18 months till the general election, which is quite long if your being robbed.

Telling untruths in Parliament, an untruth, if accepted, would help to cover up and promote exactly what he is talking about.

And then bizarrely Maurice goes viral and is going on Ellen.........you couldn't make this shit up mate!!!!

Perhaps I should go on Jeremy Kyle and get Maurice on the lie detector......

Yeah I was trying to put an 'uplifting' spin on nz politics. But you are correct, idiots we could live with.  If I said what I really think on here and what I would like to do to rectify the situation, "The Final Solution" to the PGDB question....

I would be in hand cuffs in about 5 minutes....
