In their eyes they will be achieving their vision in that it doesn't matter what the industry thinks it's how the public see them and if the public don't complain about the Board then in their eyes all is good. I bet if you asked most public out there about the Board they wouldn't even know about them.  The Board is being run like a local council where if 90% of the people don't complain then it doesn't matter. The Board sees the public as their customers and the Trades people there to be used and abused rather than have equal rights.

Not only that it's easy to achieve the vision when it's not getting measured. You would notice in that document it's just a big statement and there are no measures of success.

The second part of the document is in direct contradiction to what Bickers told the industry "Effective and efficient governance of the plumbing, gasfitting and drainlaying trades through the continuation of a quasi-autonomous body corporate structure."

Bickers told the industry that the Board was not there to govern the industry but were a regulatory organisation but here it is in their strategic plan about governance.  I think this Board had told so many lies that the truth now escapes them.
