Making a general complaint about the Board

(for tradespeople only)

The Board’s general complaint resolution policy provides a framework for addressing complaints of tradespeople who consider that they have been disadvantaged by an action, order or decision of the Board under the 2006 Act.

Disadvantage may have resulted, for instance, from one or more of the following:
•poor or unlawful decision-making;
•lack of consistency;
•inefficiency/ineffectiveness;
•poor communication; and
•lack of accountability

This policy does not cover complaints:
•about an action, order or decision of the Board under Part 3 of the 2006 Act (relating to discipline and offences);
•of a general nature about the Board’s policies and processes under the 2006 Act;
•about an action, order or decision of the Board under the Plumbers, Gasfitters, and Drainlayers Act 1976;
•that have already been considered under the Board’s historical complaints resolution process; and/or
•considered to be trivial, frivolous or vexatious.

Financial compensation is not available as a remedy under this policy. However, in some instances complaints may be referred to the Board for consideration under its fees waiver or refund policy.

Should just complain about "frivolous" stuff then, like how pathetic they are continuously breaching their own Act that THEY administer. PATHETIC! 

And how I think they are actually pretty f*ckin thick for a bunch of suit wearing self proclaiming "gods of industry" that need daddy Minister to fight their fights when its getting too tough for them when their lawyers (more suits) have also run out of ideas and/or loopholes on how to get out of this!
