I have to say I am because the Council down here check them and will make a complaint to the board. I have no reason not to risk it when the law is very clear that I must pay.

Hi guys the council shouldn't hold you up because you are still licenced to work while the dispute is under consideration.
Just a point to consider
Unless the moral improves the floggings will continue

Backflow - read this weeks Fellow Practitioner and all will be made clear.  No one is asking you to work illegally - the Act allows for you to apply for a waiver of fees and until such time as the Board turns down the application we understand that you can continue to work legally.  Once you get the letter back from them, then you either have to licence or appeal.  If you appeal, then you are still working legally.  It is a passive protest, and the details will be outlined in this week's newsletter.  If you have any questions after reading it, then email the Federation.
Have you learned lessons only of those who admired you, and were tender with you, and stood aside for you?  Have you not learned great lessons from those who braced themselves against you, and disputed the passage with you?  (Walt Whitman 1819-1891)  American Poet
