Ok, so we've just put in a new Duravit Darling wall to back toilet, had it in two weeks and it's been blocked three times already.  Never had this issue with the old toilet. 
Has anyone else had this problem with this type of toilet, or do I need to get myself a new flatmate?  Could we need to increase the amount of water that comes from the cistern?
Also, when it's blocked, is it true that the water won't go over the top of the bowl? 
Help!?

Yes the design should be such that if pipe is blocked the bowl should be able to handle one full flush from the cistern...if you flush more than once of course you run the risk of overflowing the toilet...was this flatemate living there when the old toilet was going if so he/she shouldnt be your problem... And most important of all was the work carried out by a qualified tradesman?...
