Wetback problem pipes hot when fire is cold

The pipes into the back of my fire are still hot in the morning when the fire is cold is the water still going around

It could be reverse siphoning, this will happen when the pipework is not installed correctly or if there is no anti siphon trap.

ok my power bill was high last month and we have used 150kws more this month and theres 4 days till we get the meter read.this is on the hot water mater.

how old is the installation?
is this a new problem or something that's happened from new? if it's a new problem, then what has changed? any plumbing alterations? me, I'd be looking for a water leak especially with an increased power bill.

My cylinder has two elements one at the bottom and one at the top what temp should the top one be set at. Thanks
