Just to note the passing of Wayne Owen Kirk 03757.

To any one who's on this fourm who knew him.

Quite a character who i did my apprenticeship with. Another Taonga of the industry gone.

hi guys/enn, i worked with a wayne kirk in ch-ch a few years ago, he retired and moved to the west coast, is this the same guy? cheers

Hi Robbo, yes the same guy.
 Wayne (kirky) worked in CHCH for Clyne & Bennie i believe.  retired to Punikaiki but ended up retreading and starting a business in greymouth.
I will post the funeral details when i find out and there will be something in the press.
