As I see it in the last decade we have had five Ministers for Building and Construction and they have been from both main parties. None of them have been effective, none of them have held the Plumbers Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board accountable, none of them held the Industry Training Organisation to account and none off them have done anything for the industry. All they are backing is a regulatory system that is trying to justify its existence and covering up problems caused by it's own actions.
The problem for the industry is that we can't go to either of the main political parties as they created the problems and the small parties have no power to do anything. When they are ankle deep in shit they will blame the industry as they are doing now with supervision (a problem they created with their dual qualification system). Something to think on.
